H011313SI1 Title - Carbon Composite - Summer Internship - January 14, 2013 - 1st Shift The Durham Boat Company is looking for one summer, paid intern to have a "hands-on" manufacturing experience with carbon composites. Duties will include lay-up and molding of carbon pre-preg parts, assisting with some related engineering projects (e.g., mold design, process improvements, etc.) and other duties to be determined. In addition, the successful candidate will be provided mentoring within the carbon composites field. Hours: The successful candidate will work between 8:00AM to 4:30PM, 5 days per week. The starting pay is commensurate with related work experience and education. (i.e, range between $10.00 to $12.00 per hour.) Required: High School Graduate, working toward a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Material Science, with excellent mechanical aptitude and a passion to learn how to work with carbon composites.
