Description
The Stämpfli X1 is a ‘teardrop’ hull shape, developed by the Finnish Ship Technical Institute in Helsinki in partnership with Stämpfli for 3-time Olympic Champion Pertti Karpinnen. This shape is 8.1m long and available in a full range of average crew weights up to 110kg, with a bias towards more volume in the stern than the bow. It provides more stability and confidence to scullers at the catch. The present single available and in stock is an 85kg +/- 5kg capacity hull with the following rigging components as standard:
- Dreher F4 carbon, 3-way adjustable foot stretchers; with flat shoe plate;
- Dreher medium carbon seat top;
- Stämpfli Al – Stern mounted wing rigger and Dreher Hollow Carbon Stern Mount Rigger to reduce weight by 1kg over the Al Wing Rigger
- Stämpfli Scull Locks/pins;
- Carl Douglas Tracks
